Visit from Santa 12/20/13

Kids had a fun surprise at Sam Club
Santa came to Visiting all the Children.
They thought it was really awesome to see Santa
in a food store

It was a lot of fun watching he kids play in the snow and have a good time with all the ice.
It was a Thursday night the storm came in
you never know it the you are going to get the ice storm most of the time
it stay up by OK. We had the rain pound our window all night and you could hear
the wind blowing all night too by the morning you looked out and we had about 6ins
Of freezing rain and mixed with snow :):) Snow day
Elyse School was canceled Thursday night, By Friday morning the
DFW area was closed down
We got more ice then we plan on to get in the DFW area.
We just stay home ( Roads was all Ice over)
Saturday / Sunday nothing has changed because we was still below freezing temp
We had Christmas ward. Breakfast w/Santa, Church on  Sunday Canceled
We travel out on Saturday for lunch it took us about 30 mins to get to the place
that only take us 8mins on a normal day, All the roads still had a lot of
ice. By Monday temp started to warm up a little melt in the day but by night
temp was back into freezing then it would Ice over again.
There was no School or Work again Monday
Tues and Wed Bill had late days into work
Elyse started School back on Tues
Ice storm are definitely not safe they cause a lot of problem.
But it was sure nice to have the family together and just
to chill and hanging out as a family
Bonus we got  to play in very hard Snow too!!
 

Thanksgiving Day 11/28/13

Thanksgiving 2013

 

It was a relaxing day for our house, Bill took off in the morning to play so

football with the boys he played center and even catched a football

His boy's even made a shirt in honor of Bill

While Bill was gone I cooking a storm in the kitchen cooking and making treats

for our feast. At 2pm we headed the church for thanksgiving dinner with

some awesome friend Boyer, Hill, Dewey, Jenson we ate dinner

kids played in the gym :) Bro Boyer made sure we had a

TV to watch the Football game, Just hanging together a friends  

We had such a fantastic time share a wonderful holiday

with friends

 

 

 

If you can not tell I made the Turkey out of rice- crispy dipped in chol
Pilgrim Hat out of  Chol marshmallow and cookies
MMmmmmm Good!
 

We headed home around 6pm Got kids ready for bed! then I finished

looking at the black Friday ads :):):)

Then I was off for some shopping at10pm and back home at 2pm

It was a Good night got some awesome deal. By the end of the week

Christmas is Done!
